Erin Summer entered the Boeotian jungle, on Orion, over a half a century ago, together with her sister Dione, the famous adventurer Bertrand Dune and small crew of people and building robots, to lay the foundation to what was to become the City of Province. She has lived there ever since, watching the city and its ideal grow.

Here is a little piece from the updated version of “Origin” (we are still holding on to it so it is not posted yet )
“The blazing sunlight irritated her eyes as she wandered across a wide square, and proceeded towards a large, domed building next to the school, the central Archive. She longed for the cooler and dryer air inside. This was”Central Province,” the middle of the “new” capitol of Orion, located in the middle of the Boeotian jungle. A small team led by Erin Summer, her sister Dione and the legendary Bertrand Dune, had programmed the building robots and overlooked the construction of this site, fifty-four years ago. Despite the abundance of land on Orion only a few parallels near the polar circles were considered as habitable, the rest was either too hot or too cold. The construction of Province had been a part of the ecological and economical reformation of Orion. They had been heading for a climate disaster and the human presence was to blame. Orion had no room for extra pollution. It already had volcanoes that spewed out greenhouse gasses in to its delicate atmosphere. There were other factors as well. Criminality, poverty and health was the major arguments that pushed the reformation through. Now, a half a century later it was clear that it had been a success. Province was an idealistic concept that had turned to reality. It was a place where people could live in harmony with nature and each other. The government provided housing, food and clothes in exchange for work. The economic system was still in use, but in a much smaller scale. Most everything in Province was free for its citizens but currency was used outside. She like the tranquillity. She took a breath of the fresh air and watched automatic vehicles travelled along electromagnetic rails in the roads, and in the distant she could hear the speed trains travelling across the jungle. The city was mixed with the surrounding forest in a natural way, as if they always had been a part of each other.”
