I love the slope you have here which makes for a very stimulating POV. Nope, this is not boring at all. These details make you such a great artist. Awesome!

I really MUST get MD2 when I can afford it. In the meantime, I have been fiddling with Pegasus and am having moderate success with conforming clothing. Can I ask a technical question? Do you use the clothing you create in MD2 as dynamic, draped objects? And if so, which engine do you use to drape them on your figure? Does MD2 have a cloth simulator, or do you use Poser's cloth room? Your clothing is always stunning, and I'm just wondering how you achieve it.

Love the image you have put together here. There is something stunning and professional about every single one of your renders. I know my own work lacks it, but I'm struggling to decide what it is I'm missing. Your gorgeous, rich renders are truly an inspiration!

Thank you for your kind words. I am blushing. Never think of your art as “lacking”, you make beautiful art. I go through the same kind of struggle with every image I make. We have to remember that this is a journey and we have to make the most of it, with every image, and don't waste time on worry and insecurity. MD2 is both a clothing maker and simulator. It has pins and even a wind force, just like Posers cloth room. The cloth is draped in real time as you create them. Instead of working with geometry, you are working with patterns. I start with importing a character in a neutral pose, make the clothes, and then I import the posed character. Once the clothes leave MD2 they are static so if you want to repose the character you have to do it in MD2. I take the exported cloth object into Hexagon, add some smoothing levels and details- and then brings it into Poser for material and rendering wit the Poser figure. It really is a wonderful and fun program.

Thank YOU for YOUR kind words. :D It is always encouraging to get feedback from someone whose work you admire. I've never wanted to be more than a hobbyist who makes art for personal expression, but it is always good to learn how to improve your techniques. I've already grown so much with the feedback and help of other artists! :iconkachinadoll: has described a similar workflow to the one you just explained, and I'm really impressed with your creations, so I'm quite interested in giving MD2 a shot!

Again, thank you for the feedback and explanation!
